Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi my son was exposed to a person with TB so i decided to consult a doctor and advised us to have PPD test and xray. he had (-)PPD result but xray says: Pneumonitis, both inner lung. cannot rule out concommitant primary kock's infection. he's doctor suggest he undergoes treatment for 6 months same as prescription to a person with TB. after almost 2months of treatment from now,i decided to have second opinion. new xray says: compared to first film, present shows perihilar nodularities with calcific stippling to rule out primary kock's infection with signs of healing. does this mean he'll be ok soon? i'm so worried since my husband plans to take us with him abroad.
