i am almost 69 yr old caucasian woman with hx of two C sections before age 40 yrs and a tubal for sterilization around 42 yrs...i did not go into menopause until 52 yr; i just saw a new gyn this week that said i had a large uterus for my age; usually size of walnut but really seems to be the size of orange at least; i have been on replacement hormones ie estradiol 0.5 mg and prometrium 200 mg until this week when she said i should not be on them at my age; she said most likely fibroids although my past gyn never said my uterus was still large with fibroids; my concern this is a new finding...as fibroids tend to get smaller from what i have read with menopause; my PUS is this next week. Obviously i am worried about cancer...thanks
