i am taking eltroxin ferny thyroid had a blood test this week and have been told i need to increase from .75 to 88. now I know el toxin doesn't come that way. I have just had one new blood test and do not want to change the medication. should i wait and have another blood test a week or so later, last year I spent 4 months while they kept changing my meds increased once to 100- changed the type of med to synthroid - ended up in emerg. the dr had me go back on 50. eltroxin, then another blood test and then I was put on .75 eltroxin-one yearlaterblood test shows low at 6 rather than 8 - it was discovered the error could have been the blood tests or other body conditions my current doctor after one blood test wants me to change from .75 to88 -which means changing med type -which I got ill from. would I be smart to wait a month, keep taking the.75 and then request another blood test -?
