I Have Type 2 Diabetes And I Am On Metformin

i have type 2 diabetes and i am on metformin tablet 2x a day. i imagine that because of the holidays i haven't been watching my diet and i can't get my blood sugar down. it has been between 320 on the high side and 220 on the low this past week. am i in trouble?
