i really need some relationship advice, ill start by saying, my partner is from kurdistan and i am from england, we are both living in switzerland. I don’t really know where to begin with this all really, my partner and I have started to get into fights 4-5 times a week now about his family. Whenever they call or speak Kurdish I ask what they said or if he can translate, apparently my mood changes, especially when it concerns his sister. To be honest, im not sure why but I don’t feel great when he spends time or does things with or for his sister. I think it stems from when they came over in 2015 he pretty much ditched me and put me a side for quite a while to help them and the feelings have developed from there. He used to do so much for her etc and I feel like I got jealous, the feelings are still there now and hes super impatient with them, he goes up like a bottle of pop and the whole night is ruined then because hes angry and blocking me out and im upset.. I don’t know how to get these feelings to go away, do you have any advice? Good advice not just a no brainer.. it ruined my birthday completely yesterday and I just dropped him off at home this morning, he was so distant.. ive tried to understand that In their culture the family values are different, the older brother needs to take care of the females etc they are number one but I want to feel like his number one.. in a relationship your wife becomes your number one, I tried to explain this to h and he lost it claiming im jealous of his sister, poor poor her, I honestly don’t know what to do anymore
