I Tested My Blood Sugar, Using My Mothers Monitor, Right

i tested my blood sugar, using my mothers monitor, right after the party last night. i ate to the point that i was full, and about 20 to 30 minutes after eating, tested mine just because she was testing hers. i was a little shocked to find out it was 8.8. does that mean that i am diabetic?
