I Was A Professional Singer For Decades Until I Had

i was a professional singer for decades until i had a thyroidectomy at age 50. Now age 80 I am singing in several choral groups at a lower pitch level. I am 5'9" tall and weigh 222 and need to lose weight so I can get off the lopressor, which interferes with my physical and vocal stamina, and causes hair loss, and the atorvastatin which causes hair loss. I can't do anything about the Synthroid which also causes hair loss. What blood pressure medicine can a singer take that won't interfere with respiration during effort as required for singing, and won't cause persistent coughing as some other blood pressure meds do?
