I Went For A Colposcopy Following A Smear And Have

i went for a colposcopy following a smear and have been copied into a letter from the unit to my doctor saying i had low density changes with punctuation after acetic acid application. i had to have a biopsy at the time but haven't had the results back yet. does the presence of punctuation mean its more likely to be cancerous?
