im a 22 year old female that got my tonsils and adenoids removed 9 days ago. ive been feeling my gums above my wisdom teeth all the way to my bottom front teeth are swollen and painful for the last 2 days. i woke up this morning with my entire left bottom side swollen, even into my cheek and i can barely close my mouth. ive been brushing my teeth as best i can every day and taking my medications on time. do i have an infection in my gums, or is this normal?
