In April This Year A Plastic Surgen Performed Superior Medial
in April this year a plastic surgen performed superior medial pedical vertical breast reduction surgery in conjunction with suction assisted liposcultpure of the axillary tails and inframammary folds. two to three months after surgery i noted that there was significant contour irregularity of the left breast involving the inferior central and quadrant area, with no major skin pathology, presenting with central palpatory hardness. The Nipple areola complex status is normal with no signs of deformation or discolouration generally associated with pedicle vascular issues ( this is what is stated in his letter to my GP). the surgeon want to procedd with corrective surgery after reassessing the left breast and making the final decision for corrective surgery. This will involve revision of the vertical scar and lateral quadrant of the breast, recontouring and resuturing. This can be done as day surgery. i am very reluctant to go ahead with this procedure - the breast is very deformed and i am most distraute with the outcome to date. Should i seek another surgeon for corrective surgery or should i stay with the surgeon who proformed the initial surgery ??? your advise is appriciated
