Is There Any Treatment For Poked Marks With Dark Complexion ?
i am a teenage boy with dark complex... i have pockedmarks allover my face ... when i was 6 months old ... a deep wound started to appear all over the body... but the wound healed from all over the body but there are pockedmarks all over my face... So doctor please give me the solution for this... i ve used men active whitening cream to reduce its appearence... there was no effect... i m still dark complexed...help me doc... i wamt to get rid of those pokedmarks or say scars and lightened my complexion...

Hello, welcome to HCM. As you are still young you should not worry about it much as your skin is still regenrating and in most likelyhood your scars would disappear by themself. You can use home remedy of applying coconut oil as it is known to lighten the scar mark. You can consult a dermatologist who would be able to assess you better and prescribe any allopathic medicine in case required. You can also consult a cosmetic surgeon for long lasting solution. Am afraid most of these marks are long time scars. They will never disappear unless radical surgical therapy is attempted like skin grafting atleast on face for cosmetic relief. Laser may help to some extent to reduce pigmentation along with skin lightening ointment if possible. Speak to your Dermatologist for the various treatment options and get a proper solution.

to remove those scar mark there are a number of natural remedies that can be used to quicken the process. You can take some cotton gauze or balls and soak it in coconut water and apply it over the affected areas daily. Most folk therapists who advocate this method are of the opinion that the use of coconut water ensures a speedy removal of your scars. Another alternative is to use freshly squeezed lemon juice as an application over the affected area of the skin.
