Mr. Simmons Is A Patient At Your Facility And Has

mr. simmons is a patient at your facility and has dementia from Alzheimer's disease. At night he tends to get out of bed and wander in the halls looking for his wife. on this particular night the nurse has asked you to put him back in bed for the fourth time. Everytime you put him back you notice that he is becoming more and more agitated. Should the patient be restrained? Can the nurse give him medication to put him to sleep so that he is not a nuisance for the rest of the night? Why or why not? What are some alternatives?
