My 11 Year Old Son's Belly Button Is Going From

my 11 year old son's belly button is going from an outie to an innie. it looks like a bead inside his belly button that is wanting to come out. a small red spot on it. and there's yellow junk coming out of it. no pain. but has discomfort. he is overweight. has done no heavy lifting to cause a strain. should I take him to the emergency room or wait to see his doctor?
