my 78 yo dad had knee replacement 4 weeks ago. since then he's had difficulty breathing (through his nose). he gets relief sitting in front of a fan or going to bed. we've gone to the ER and have completed meds for bronchitis and finished a round of predisone; inhaler did not seem to help nor has flonase. he did not have these symptoms prior to surgery, anesthesia. he was on no meds prior either except an occasional tramadol. we've been to our PCP twice. what are the symptoms of congenital heart issues? could that be a possibility? he's had nasal polyps removed twenty years ago; PCP saw no reason to suggest that could be a problem again. he's so not himself it worries me
