Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my canine, a spaniel mix with a weight of 31.8 lbs was taken in to vet today. the spayed female was very lethargic and was in obvious pain over the weekend. Upon exam with radiograph the vet said she had abdominal pain due to gas and/or contradiction of a food intake. The vet gave her an injection of Cerenia 10mg/ml about this afternoon. Also prescribed was a Tremadol 50mg 1 tablet twice a day for pain. Upon arriving home I gave her that tramadol with her food. Is there an adverse drug interaction with these two drugs? I don't recall the exact instruction from vet....but another clinical worker said IT WAS OK TO GIVE HER A DOSE. PLEASE ADVISE ....thanks
