my daughter has been diagnosed with severe allergic conjunctivitis, but she has severe mucus discharge and it lasts for days and then moves to the other eye. could this be bacterial conjunctivitis . She has bee to an opthomologist and he gave her steroid eye drops, which she can not take because they cause her extreme mood swings.
