my daughter has ovarian cancer stage 4, she has had 6 rounds of chemo and her ca125 has gone down from 1 year ago until this past oct. to 7 from 900. She had a full hysterectomy and a tumor removed from her colon in January. Thus after taking about 4 inches, she had an ileostomy which was reversed this past July. this past month she developed a pain in her back and is extremely tired. She was referred by her surgeon to the major cancer hospital in our city for further treatment. They have not responded well, but that is another story. She has now gone back to her original hospital emergency tonight with extreme pain in her back and a bloated stomach. We are on vacation and have just got a message that her white cell count is extremely high and they will now do a cat scan etc. We are angry about the lack of treatment at this world renowned hospital. We want chemo immediately. Your opinion please. We do know that this is such a nasty disease. Our beautiful daughter is only 41 with 5 children, aged 4 to 14.
