My Daughter Who Is 2 1/2 Years Is Prescribed Omnacortil

my daughter who is 2 1/2 years is prescribed omnacortil suspension 5ml for thrice a day for a week.... she had been getting cold and cough for few times repeatedly in two months ... she is atopic dermatitis... can i give her this medication...pls advice

Hi Thanks for asking HCM. Please have faith in your doctor.Each and every doctor tries his level best to give his/ her patient best possible treatment according to their conditions.If your daughter is suffering from atopic dermatitis then chances are she may also be suffering from other allergic conditions which may be causing her constant cold and cough.Please continue the drug as prescribed. she should also go through some blood tests and an xray chest if all ready not done. Keep visiting as and when called for.
