my grandson had an echo done. He just started college, but had the echo because of chest pains daily. Abnormalities found were elevated right atrial pressure or a persistent left superior vena cava and the dilated inferior vena cava demonstrates poor inspiratory collapse , consistent with elevated right atrial pressure.trace mitral and pulmonary valve regurg. the pulmonary artery is mildly diated. The inferior vena cava was dilated, with respiratory size variation greater than 50%. What does this mean?
