My Husband Has Been Diagnosed With A Respiratory Virus Yesterday.

my husband has been diagnosed with a respiratory virus yesterday. He is taking amlodipine 5mg. When he saw the doctor his blood pressure was 104 over 66. She took it again. It was still low. He has since took it today and it remained lower than usual. She said he was dehydrated also. Would taking this drug and being dehydrated result in his blood pressure being so low compared to his normal readings?
