Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my husband has been on haldal He is in a nursing home and on hospice with final stages of alzheimeirs. He has been on 1.0, 1.0, .5 doses 3 times a day. They just recently lowered his dosage to .5 two times a day and he is doing much better. He is now able to stand on his legs and able to function much better. It was recommended by the alzheimeirs association that he might start on the drug seraquil (spelling). Does it come in liquid form and do we need to ween him off the haldol. People seem concerned about changing drugs but I am more concerned about quality of life.
