My Husband Has Just Been Discharched From Hospital With An

my husband has just been discharched from hospital with an unknown strain of staph infection, was determined at the first er it was cellulitis but husband has history of gangrene as a child and tendon surgury mutliple times on left hand and got infection of the skin and than went on to osteomylitis was on iv antibitiocs and also had a pic line for a year and half in 2008, the first er prescribed keflex and bactrim and he also recieved venamyocin and another through iv for one dose and sent home after that was told to come back to er for checkups..which we did. after second check up and sitting in er for 7 hours and saw doc for a minute and half was told he was just fine and see them again tmrw..as the day wore on it grew to a size i have never thought could so we went a different er and was admitted imediatly and stayed for 6 days. so my question is thesecond er only prescribed bactrim and not the keflex the first er had but has not finished the antibiotic so should he take the remaing of them or just stay on the bactrim? i hope this was not confusing as this whole ordeal has had me scared and confused since we were told it went septic and if waited any longer would have possibly lost arm
