My Husband Is On Dialysis And Has A Renal Stent

my husband is on dialysis and has a renal stent in right Kidney that has to be changed every 4 months and a bladder that is so small and spasms that the doctor puts Botox in it , so now the doctor is suggesting to remove the Kidney (it only had a function of 4% and the other one is not working at all) he is not a candidate for a Kidney transplant because of the many tries to get the Kidney stones out it has caused damage to his ureter, he is also cauterized , and that has to be changed ever 6 weeks , I believe his quality of life would be better he is 68 yr old... let me know your thoughts
