my husband is recovering from stroke. normally he is on an insulin pump with u500, but hospital won't use pump they are covering his sugars ( which run between 250-280 with a sliding scale. They usually give 10 u of u100, which equals about 2 u of u500. Is is ok to keep his sugars at that number? thomn
