my mother in law has suffered a stroke. There was a significant delay in taking her to the hospital. The neurologist there had suggested an operation to remove 2 blood clots with an ultimatum that if we do not get the operation done, she would go into a coma. However now after the operation she has gone into a vegetative state, whereas just before being wheeled into the OT she was talking to me. What might have gone wrong?
