my partner has a swollen, red belly button but its not painful to press. He has just started with back and rib pains. he had an ultra sound on it today and at tea time the doctor rang and said he either needs to go to A and E tonight or see his GP tomorrow. He is seeing his GP tomorrow, the GP also says he needs a CT scan - can you give me any insight into this because it sounds bad to me
