My Partner Has Been Diagnosed With Stage Three HCC Two

my partner has been diagnosed with stage three HCC two years ago. He is in his late sixties. He was told that his HCC is unresectable. He was approved to be placed on a liver transplant list but was disqualified after two months due to no longer meeting the Milan Criteria. He was prescribed Sorafanib for six months until it stopped working. He is declining rapidly and is now in hospice. The nurse says his vitals are very weak and his kidneys are failing. He is cachectic and presents with jaundice. The nurse estimates that he may expire within 24 hours. At this point, is there any hope for him surviving to his birthday which is in a couple of months?
