my question relates to my left lower leg - I am having very sharp pains at the outer shin/top of the foot area at all times of the day/night. they are not long lasting, in fact, it is more akin to stabs. They don't feel like muscle spasms, as those generally are annoying, but these which started a few days ago actually cause me to catch my breath from the pain. I have no history of hyperthyroidism.
