Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my son is a widowed father of a 9 year old girl and an eleven year old boy. Their mom died seven years ago and there are many "issues:with both children. Most recently, my granddaughter will not let her father have any free time...she cries that she needs to be with him. My grandson is adHD,has tourettes symptoms and has defiant disorder...he is on meds for these conditions...sees a therapist weekly. My granddaughter is starting therapy. My son is on disability for Crohns Disease and two years ago had to be hospitalized for multiple surgeries [VERY TRAUMATIC FOR THE CHILDREN] I often think that with all the anesthesia during surgeries that his mind, thought process, has been diminished. I AM CONCERNED about the three of them....but the nine year olds insistence that she "misses' daddy all of the time is in need of help...the only explanation she gives is that she misses her dad. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
