My Vet Put My 9 Yr Old Sheltie On Chloramphenicol
my vet put my 9 yr old sheltie on chloramphenicol 250 mg tabs because she has a unknown skin infection which is causing her to lose or pull her hair out. she is on thyroid tabs, DES, and a reflux medication. I'm afraid of this medication as vet told me to use plastic gloves when I put the tablet in her pill pocket. she is taking it three times a day.
