Our 20 Year Old Grandson Has Been Diagnosed With Schizophrenia

our 20 year old grandson has been diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizoaffective. He is on the once a month shot of Invega and is having a lot of trouble with anxiety, lack of focus and emotion, and says he can't think clearly. I think the medicine is making things worse. The Dr said he has too much dophamine (hears voices) and needs Invega because it's a dophamine blocker but it seems to make him worse and depressed. Is there anything that can help while the drug is in his system? We will talk to the Dr. again on Monday.
