pregnancy related- 2nd trimester 44yo CF with hx of pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome in prior pregnancy. Presents with Nl Alk Phos but elevated transaminase levels ; elevated LFT's but normalizing albumin. Hep panel is neg. Jaundiced. Has been taken off Metformin and labetalol meds. Drug screen is neg. Doubt choleostatic jaundice of pregnancy- more hepatocellular ?? Is the etiology the pregnancy??Would termination be a possible alternative @ this point??
