saw my surgeon today after a 9 week wait to see him for my ongoing de quervains. My question I am unsure about proceeding with surgery despite ongoing symptoms and trying ALL conservative measure. Whilst I fail finklestein test I do not have that much pain. However if I try to do anything too full on pain does reoccur. IS surgical release the best way to overcome this or if I persist with conservative measure can I defeat the symptom
