Suggest Treatment For Pigmentation Problems

Dear Doctor, I have been suffering from pigmentation for more than an year. i am having dark patches on my cheeks which look really bad. I also have some pimple marks on my face which are not going at all despite various treatments.I have undergone treatment with many doctors. The medicines/creams prescribed to me are as follows: 1) Hyclean cream 2)Kojic cream 3)Glyco-6 4)Casera Tablets(Antioxidant) I have been using these medicines for a very long time but there has been no improvement at all. Infact the skin darkening is increasing day by day. My doctor is asking me to go for chemical peeling now for which i am not ready. I have also got blood and Urine tests done for Thyroid. All my reports are normal. I would be really grateful if you could help me. I desperately need a remedy for this. Thanks a lot.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi..

I can understand your concern for hypermelanosis on face. It may be idiopathic or secondary to some cause like mineral or vitamin B12 deficiency, internal cause like endocrinal diseases, environmental or solar causes

You may take glutathion tablet, vitamin C tablet etc
Apply kojic acid gel daily at night and sunscreen during day time.
Cleanse the face with face wash containing glycolic acid.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.
