I took my son in 2 weeks ago because he had a swollen lyphnode in his neck well now I am noticing it is still there and it is attatched to skin . What does this mean
It can mean anything, since it is in the neck area it could just mean he has had a throat infection recently. But your description goes more towards a matted lymph node, i could have helped u better if u had told me if he has had fever/ lost weight recently
Get the lymph node biopsied and see what it says
Get him examined by a pediatrician
Hi well come to Hcm.
Better you take him to your doctor and let him do clinical examination to find out
if there are more than one gland enlarged,is it painful on examinationHistory of
fever, loss of appetite and weight etc are important points to corelate for conclusion
to come.Final answer is only biopsy may or may not need it if subsides with antibiotics
due to suspected infection. At younger age chances of tuberculosis are also.
Thnks
