we went to our family doctor today ,our 19 year old son was having severe sharp pain in his stomach that would not feel better any way he laid. he started having pains Saturday afternoon thinking it was gas or from not eating right,he ate 2 pieces of pizza, a foot long 22oz soda with in three hours. our son normally does not eat that much, he is 5' 11" and weighs 162 lbs the pains lasted throughout Sunday and were really bad early this morning. we were thinking a possible ulcer? his blood work came back good his x ray looked good as well the doctor prescribed him omeprazole 1 per day. his pain is still going on, but has eased up from 10 down to 7 he has eaten some toast with peanut butter and a complete protein drink. he has no nausea, fever or headache. we took him to the ER two weeks ago he had been working in he heat and developed a high fever 103.5 ,neck pain and back pain we thought it was heat stroke or spinal menigiis the er gave him a motin he fever went down and they sent him home. after that he felt real weak for about 3 days but no fever he felt ok then this did not know if it could be related.
