Hi,
Taking dilantin, proxy and not sleeping seems unrelated. There are many issues that influence sleep and stress is a major one. Development of hypertension, prodromal stage of fever etc will all alter sleep without causing other health problems.
swelling of case could be due to thyroid or kidney issues or a simple cold.
you may consult your physician for this who will investigate the cause.
all the best.
