what is meant by; and then what treatment would you suggest. I am now taking PT. But I don't want cortisone shot. I am a chicken about the awake type of pain. I would be open for surgery is called for.
BONE MARROW: Chronic mild wedge deformities of T11 and T12 are stable. No new marrow edema is seen.
CONUS MEDULLARIS: normal
L5-S1 Bilateral facet arthropathy is again seen. There is a new 7mm probable synovial cyst along the superior anterior aspect of the articular facet on the right at L5 which is likely a synovial cyst. This extends into the superior and posterior right neural foramen and could potentially encroach on the exiting right L5.
Moderate central narrowing is unchanged.
L4-5 There is severe facet arthropathy with grade 1 anterior subluxations of 4 & 5.
Multilevel. Moderate central narrowing, moderate right foraminal narrowing and moderate to severe left foraminal narrowing appears .
L3-4 Moderate facet arthropathy with moderate narrowing of the central canal and neural foramen bilaterally a;;ear similar to the prior study.
L2-3 There is mild right lateral disc protrusion and mild to moderate facet arthropathy which results in mild right foraminal narrowing and mild to moderate central narrowing.
L1-2 Unremarkable
