What Medication Can Be Taken For Anxiety And Anger While Nursing?
Hi there, I was wondering what medication for anxiety and anger can I take while nursing? Also if I have Zoloft 25mg, is it possible to have a panic attack while on that dose. I had panic attacks during the weekend and then again last night but i am not so sure that its the Zoloft.
You have anxiety and panic attacks and are currently nursing. You have been prescribed zoloft or sertraline 25 mg. Usually sertraline is advised in doses of 50-200 mg and 25 mg is low dose. This is possibility that due to low dose you are having symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks. But as you are nursing so we couldn't increase the dose. In this situation I would advise you to go for psychological methods of treatment. Behaviour therapy with Progressive Muscle Relaxation Exercises, Breathing Exercises, Yoga, Meditation help to relax individual and reduce the frequency of panic attacks.
The behavioural methods if practised properly have equal efficacy when we compare them medicines.
Thanks, hope this helps you.
