If I were your doctor, I would have advised you to avoid any known allergens like dust,smoke, etc and prescribe you with an anti allergic like cetrizine once a day and a long term course of montelukast. Also regular simple steam inhalation helps magically in some of these problems. In case it persists, I would advise you for some basic investigations like CBC, ESR, and a AEC (Absolute Eosinophil count) and would refer you to an ENT specialist if need be. Further management would depend on the investigation reports and findings of the ENT specialist.
