What Should Blood Sugar Levels Be??

My Grandmother who is diabetic was told by her doctor he would like to see her sugar levels at 50. I think that is way to low. He also took her off her diebetic meds while in the hospital a couple weeks ago. When she went for her follow up with him he asked why she was off thew meds and put her back on. Her most recent A1C was 170. I think she should get a new Doc but she doesnt agree. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

The sugar levels up to 100 in blood are considered normal, and levels between 100 and 126 are considered pre-diabetes. Get her tested again the levels dont seem realistic, and if it is real, then she shuld be treated aggressively for her sugar control.
