Can a patient with chronic folliculitis, and MRSA of the scalp from bacterial infections( that enter into my scalp from old surgery scars) still have a Staph infection if my blood culture comes back neg. for MRSA even though the pathology report states MRSA is present. I was also tested for fungal infections and that came back neg, My head is so swollen, red, full of clogged carbuncles full of yellow crusty pus and white pus that burns my scalp.
