What Is The Cause And Treatment For Severe Facial Pain Affecting Eye And Head?

hi dr. am a 29 yr old female. am complaining of severe left facial pain, affecting my left eye, my left side of head, with zygomatic bone. it reoccurs monthly but irregularly, and disturbs my daily life, besides my nervousness increases. what am I having dr??? and how could be treated. thank you in advance

most common diagnosis wwould be trigeminal nuralgia. In this there is compression of nerve in face which causes severe pain as you are saying. Treatment will be steroids and surgery. I would recommend you to meet an ENT specialist.
