What Is The Cause Of Strong Chills With Cough And Common Cold?
Sir, I have already cough and common cold. But yesterday night I started feeling really strong chills that kept me awake. After 2 hours, I prefer half portion of Paarmol-650. Then the chills go down and I can sleep well. Sir what is actually my problem is ?
The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to Lower Respiratory tract infection.
Paarmol-650 (pharmacologically Paracetamol) will help in relieving the fever only. For symptomatic relief from cold & cough, antihistamine preparation like Allegra can be added along with a course of antibiotics to prevent secondary bacterial infection. If fever persists for more than 2 days, then it will be advisable to consult your Physician for proper clinical examination. Investigations like complete blood count, X ray of chest, peripheral smear for malaria, Dengue serology will be helpful.
Meanwhile...keep yourself protected from exposure to cold, maintain adequate hydration & nutrition status.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Take care.
