I Had Faced Peculiar Problem Which As A Scrub Typhus
Hi i am 24 year old and I am serving in the army, in a recent training in a jungle our battalion faced peculiar problem. off the 130 people 112 people suffered fever and body pains, there is no cold or cough. its only fever and body pains and a small wound on arm or leg.even some had vomiting and diarrhea also, our training was called off because of it. the army hospital confirmed it as a scrub typhus, a chigger which bites humans and transmit the disease. the name of causative agent is very funny it is tsutsugamushi, is there any other disease like this?

yes scrub typhus is more common in army people. they have fever, headache, and lot of body ache. yes have you heard of rocky mountain spotted fever, tularemia, there are so many things like this. do yu know wat kala azar is. find out and answer.

did u find any eschar on ur body..i have read somwehre that it is classical sign of,,,scrub typhus and occurs at the site of ,,insect bite...
