On 3/12/2013 he admitted a 80 year old male Mr. N.L Mukherjee ( for coronary angiography in CCU in B.M. Birla )who is completely stable without any oxygen, eating well, walking around. His creatinine was 1.9 mildly elevated probably due to dehydration in ambulance ride in the month of March from Kharagpur to Kolkata. Instead of giving normal saline fluid (reduces creatinine level) they gave him big piece of fish that is high in protein that raises creatinine level further. Hosp was charging RS 5,500 per day plus Doctors fee RS 1000 per day. He refused to transfer patient in regular ward even when the patient is stable and ambulatory because he was making money and doing nothing. Patient party coulld not afford the exorbitant bill. They demanded discharge. He was planning to keep the stable patient in CCU for few days until creatinine becomes normal. That is ridiculous. He should be ashamed of himself. This kind of greedy physicians should go to hell that is the only place for them.
