After initial qualifications and training in India, obtained higher qualificatins and training in UK, Switzerland and USA. Worked in India, Afghanistan (as an International Expert), UK, Switzerland and USA.

Have been Professor of Arthroplasty & Traumatology at DMC and Professor & Head of Orthopaedics at CMC, Ludhiana. Has been MBBS and MS examiner and MCI Inspector. Has been EC member of Indian Orthopaedic Association and President of National Association of Interlocking Surgeons.

Have attended and delivered lectures at most major conferences in India and abroad.

Special Interests include Hip, Knee Replacement, Revision Surgery and Spine Surgery 

Life member Indian Orthopaedic Association, Indian Arthroplasty Association, Indian Foot and Ankle Society, Association of Spine Surgeons of India, Overseas fellow British Orthopaedic Association, Member SICOT and World Orthopaedic concern 

Written two Theses, Guide for another 10, Published 12 papers, Submitted for Publication 5, 31 are under process of Publication & Presented 65 papers at various Regional, National & International Conferences; Work presented at a National Conference was awarded A. A. Mehta Gold Medal, another paper presented at a North Zone conference was adjudged as the Best Paper. Designed Three Orthopaedic Equipments Delivered about 100 Guest/CME Lectures at centers in India, Afghanistan, UK & USA.
