I think Dr. Heijebu provided a reasonable identification of my condition, based on the information I was able to give him. What I could not give him was a picture of my condition; I tried, but could not take a picture that showed anything at all. In addition, he recommendations for tests were very appropriate. Since contacting him, I was able to see my dermatologist who identified my condition as nummular eczema and prescribe two medication to treat this condition: (1) Cephalexin 500mg; 2 per day for 14 day; and (2) Clobetasol propionate cream USP, 0.05%. Of course, a previous doctor (not a dermatologist) said I had cellulitis, so I don't know if the new name is 100% accurate or not. I am going to try the new treatment and hope for the best. And I have Dr. Heijebu's analysis and recommendations, as well. I believe he did a good, professional job.
