Abdominal Pain, Back Pain, Hard Stool With Blood. History Of Failed IVF. Reason For Pain?

Question: Hi.....I had failed ivf and results were declared on march 22 2012 and after that I was on pills for not having periods . Then got my periods on April 3rd and from April 4th I am having pain in lower abdomen sometimes I feel pain at one particular point ie left side or right and now back pain too...few days back was having hard stool accompanied with little blood....plz tell me reason for this pain..

Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in the lower abdomen in your case can be due to endometriosis or hemorrhoids or any pelvic cause like ovarian cyst, etc.
Any pelvic infection related to the intestines or colon (Enteritis Or Colitis) can also lead to such a pain.
You might benefit by visiting your gynecologist so that you can be evaluated with a panel of blood tests and a ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis OR a CT scan to diagnose the underlying condition and initiate necessary interventions for proper treatment.
Most of the times if it a minor issue then pain resolves with anti spasmodic drugs and dietary modifications.
