Brief Answer:
Safe to be given. But would not necessarily solve the problem.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. The first thing I need to ask is whether the child is exclusively breastfed. If the child is exclusively breast fed, you need not worry, no matter what. But if the child is formula fed, problems like this are quite expected. Formula feeds are cow milk based and therefore difficult to digest. This leaves undigested matter in the intestines which is degraded by intestinal bacteria to produce foul smelling gases. Switching back to breast milk is the actual step needed.

Colicaid Ez Drops contains Pepsin, Simethicone and Diastase. It is safe and can be given. It is meaningless to be given daily. It can be given as and when required.

Regards
